Playback Pass is a weekly reward system for engaging with your On-Air playlist.
As you listen to your On-Air playlist, you progress through Playback Pass milestones. Each completed milestone or stage unlocks a new reward. Below is a detailed explanation of how Playback Pass works.
Playback Pass is valid for one week, and you can activate it at any point during that week. At the start of a new week, the previous Playback Pass expires, and a new one becomes available for activation.
Once activated, your On-Air playlist is populated with tracks and periodically analyzed to track your listening progress. To start listening, simply click the Go On-Air button to access your playlist.
Without activating Playback Pass:
Why can't I activate Playback Pass?Playback Pass cannot be activated until a couple of hours before the current one expires. However, you will be able to activate it as soon as the new week starts — a new Playback Pass begins every Monday at midnight.
Playback Pass consists of 32 milestones, with 8 milestones available to complete each day. To complete a milestone, you need to listen to the On-Air playlist for a specified amount of time. Once completed, you can collect the reward by clicking the open lock icon.
The 8 daily milestones form one stage. Completing all 8 in a day completes the stage and unlocks an additional stage reward.
You can complete up to 4 stages per week.
At the end of each day, if a stage hasn’t been completed (i.e., not all 8 milestones are done), the stage progress resets. However, partial progress on individual milestones is saved for the next stage.
Each stage rotates daily. You can track time until the next rotation using the Playback Pass timer. When rotation happens, an incomplete stage is reset.
Additionally, the On-Air playlist updates during each rotation. If you've completed the stage before rotation, your playlist will be cleared and refilled with new tracks afterward.
What does “Analyzing Playback” mean?We periodically analyze your On-Air playlist to update your progress. If you see this message, give Sigmund a moment — your progress will be updated shortly.
Why is my milestone not filling up?If you're listening to the On-Air playlist but don’t see progress yet, please wait — milestone progress usually updates every hour.
Why isn’t my stage progress updating?Stage progress only increases when you collect a completed milestone reward.
What are unpacked rewards?Unpacked rewards are rewards you didn’t collect in a previous stage before the new stage started. You can still claim them at any time, even after the Playback Pass ends.
